As a family-owned local business, we believe good food should bring people together—and that every bowl should be made with the same care as the pasta we'd serve to our own family. More than a decade later, that's still at the heart of everything we do.

Behind Z-Pasta Bar are two very different culinary backgrounds brought together by the same love of great food. Co-founder Tony Cotrufo brings 35+ years in the restaurant world, with roots stretching from Los Angeles and Hawaii to Rome, Italy. Executive Chef Olivier Rousselle, trained in Paris, has cooked across three continents—from members of the British Royal Family to some of California's notable kitchens. Our sauces are made from scratch, our ingredients are chosen with purpose, and our kitchen never stops caring about the little things. We cook with extra virgin olive oil instead of seed oils and offer vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and halal options because everyone deserves a place at the table. After all the experience behind our kitchen, our standard is still remarkably simple: make pasta we'd be proud to serve to our own family.
